In December Emerald Coast Aviation hosted the wee little ones – preschoolers from the Crestview Public Library came to the airport for a field trip. This has become an annual tradition which we look forward to as much as the kids and parents who participate. This year, the kids got to meet a real pilot, Mario Werth, and to learn about the different parts of an airplane and have their pictures taken in the cockpit. They even got to see an airplane take off and land. The visit was rounded out with coloring and cookies – perfect! Thank you to Heather Nitzel for this fun opportunity.
Also in December, ECA hosted the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast. Jonathan insisted on continuing the tradition which makes the December breakfast everyone’s favorite by inviting the Crestview High School Choir to perform. This group never disappoints. Thank you so much to Crestview High School, to Mr. Lusk and the students for a wonderful show.
